About Us
The AOAC is run by Simon and Lizzy Whitmore. Simon has had a connection with the AOAC since the 1990's and started his career there, learning the skills he now coaches. Lizzy and Simon met through the centre in 2001 and married in 2004 having found love through a passion for kayaking. Their children, Erin and Connor both grew up at the AOAC and had their introduction to the great outdoors through the centre. It is this family feel that makes the AOAC so unique as the entire team are friends and family first and forement and share a passion for the outdoors and passing on that love to others.
